Crystal Wong

CLIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR
CO-FOUNDER
ATTORNEY

Immigration has always been a big part of Crystal’s life. As a child, she loved listening to the stories about her grandparents coming to America, and of her parents’ falling in love that brought her mom from Hong Kong to the United States. As she grew older, Crystal saw firsthand the struggles that immigrant families face as she watched her cousins, aunts, uncle and friends adjust to life in America. Seeing the financial and cultural hardships that her family and friends experienced and remembering her parents' and grandparents' immigration stories encouraged Crystal to pursue a career in immigration law.

Crystal received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Music and a Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University. While in law school, Crystal took as many immigration classes as she could while serving extensively in various organizations including: the Public Interest Law Foundation as the Law Help Director and Vice President of Publicity; the Minority Law Student Association as Vice President; and the Family Law Student Association as Vice President. She was also a lead editor for the Journal of Public Law and served as the first Service Representative for the Student Bar Association. Crystal was awarded the 2011-2012 Distinguished Service Award and the J. Reuben Clark Public Service Award.

Before working with Immigrant Legal Services, Crystal worked as a document preparer for a well-established mediator and reviewed documents for litigation discovery. Her experience also includes mediation, family law and municipality law.
